Inside Sales Position

Position Description:

Inside Sales Account Manager: This is an inside sales position to be located in the TrueContext Ottawa office. This person will work closely with customers, field sales, customer service and other groups to manage opportunities and independently close customer sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead management throughout the sales cycle

    • Evaluate incoming leads for dispensation.
      • Lead follow up and sales closure
      • Lead capture and transition to field sales

  2. Monitor and respond to inquiries on the TrueContext "Live Chat" line


  3. Coordinate closely with customer service organization to ensure prompt effective response to customers

    • Communicates and follows up with customers on problem resolution

  4. Develop and maintain effective communication channels with various levels in clients' organization and provide necessary feedback to the sales team

    • Account management of closed sale customers
      • Pursue follow on sales
      • Assess product performance establish relevant metrics and make enhancement recommendations

  5. Work in conjunction with field sales, to develop and/or enhance selling tools and participates in customer training sessions via web conferences and personal communication


  6. Establish targeted(inside sales, web, or vertical segment) marketing programs, trade show support, Google AdWords, and processes to support channel sales

    • Establish key metrics and lead dispensation in an effort to improve customer relationships
    • Make recommendations regarding selling tool enhancements to improve organizational productivity
    • Monitor and manage our web presence as a channel. This includes Google Adwords as well as eMarketing programs

  7. Create and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive account management, outstanding customer service and sales support

  2. Lead creation, transition and/or management
  3. Forecast preparation opportunity rationalization
  4. Trade show customer coordination and support
  5. Strong and measurable web presence
  6. Metric development and implementation
  7. Marketing and program creation, enhancement and tool development

Position Qualifications and Personal Traits:

Bachelors degree preferred, 2 plus years experience in IT or Telecom sales or support and an understanding of telecommunications concepts and products. Also must be able to demonstrate prior success in closing sales opportunities. Must possess strong working knowledge of MS Office Software. Experience with Google AdWords and Salesforce.com is a plus. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to effectively communicate throughout multiple levels of an organization. This person should have the ability to multi-task, rationalize responsibilities and establish suitable priorities. Also she/he should be able to maintain organizational effectiveness in a rapidly changing environment. They should be able to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and leadership skills.
