Microsoft, in an ever increasingly competitive market, is once again using their current status as the two-ton gorilla of the software universe to make some noise as they enter the realm of cloud computing. With the release of Windows Office365, Microsoft is intending to make up ground in their battle with Google Inc. and after reporting more than $9 billion in revenue for the quarter ending June 30, 2011 Google clearly represents formidable competition. Windows Azure, a name intended to inspire images of clarity, cleanliness, and the boundlessness of the blue sky, is the platform which supports Microsoft's cloud based office package, among others.

Mike,

Thanks for reading and for the thoughtful question. ProntoForms works with all the market leading device platforms. While iOS and Android are indeed the two fastest growing, we are currently supporting the other OS options as well. In a few cases, you will find feature differences not supported on some device OS's, but our objective is to have all features across all platforms, when possible. Ultimately, market share of our users drives R&D priority.

Are Android and iOS appear to be your prefered mobile platforms, is this a strategic direction or just happenstance? The Blackberry platform seems to have a few technical and functional limitations as a ProntoForm mobile platform. Is this something that can (and will) be fixed with further development, or is that platform becoming non-viable for you guys?

I have been looking for sometime now to cut back on the repeated steps that we have to take through paper forms. I feel that eliminating forms through an electronic software along with other operational features should make our company much more effective and efficient.
