On August 8th, the ProntoForms team headed up to Calabogie Peaks Resort and kicked off our summer party by preparing 21,600 pre-packaged, balanced meals with help from Kids Against Hunger Canada.
Each package is enough for 6 servings and includes white rice, fortified crushed soy, dehydrated vegetables, and 21 vitamins & minerals. These meals, weighing in at 4,035 pounds, were donated to the Ottawa Food Bank, and will go to the network of 38,400 people they help support.
The rest of the day was spent taking advantage of all the perks Calabogie has to offer, including kayaking, hiking, golf, and volleyball.
